My name is Rachel Anne Williams and I am a personal trainer in the St Louis area. This is my blog about fitness, health, lifting, nutrition, and philosophical/social controversies surrounding obesity, health, and feminism. I have a Master’s in philosophy and left a PhD program in philosophy during my sixth year ABD (all but dissertation completed). I’m currently a barista but working on getting my career as a fitness professional started! I’m also transgender which provides me a unique insight into how fitness works for both male and female hormonal systems and helps me understand the differences and similarities in training goals/training for men, women, and non-binary folks.
